What makes Apapacho different?

Can the cacao be used as a coffee alternative?
Yes. Our 100% cacao can be prepared on daily basis as a specialty coffee alternative.
Can I prepare the cacao in the same way as coffee?
Not always: you cannot add the cacao to a filter coffee machine or a percolator. You should dissolve the cacao in boiling water or hot milk. See the "How to Enjoy" page for details and recipes.
What does "Apapacho" mean?
Apapacho is a Mexican word coming from Náhuatl native tongue. It means hugging with the soul. Care that you can feel. This is what we offer in every sip.
Where does your cacao come from?
Our premium cacao mass comes from farming families in Tabasco, Mexico, and is processed in Mexico City.
